Overview

ZapFolder is a Windows desktop utility that adds a fast deletion command to Windows Explorer's right-click context menu. ZapFolder does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

Data Collection

• No internet access — ZapFolder is completely offline
• No telemetry — no usage data, crash reports, or analytics
• No personal information — nothing is accessed, read, or collected
• No cookies or tracking — no tracking mechanisms of any kind

Data Processed Locally

• Folder paths — passed to the worker process for deletion, never transmitted
• Deletion statistics — shown in a dialog after deletion, not saved or transmitted

File Deletion

ZapFolder permanently deletes files and folders from your local filesystem. Deleted files are not sent to the Recycle Bin and cannot be recovered through normal means. ZapFolder always asks for confirmation before deleting.

Third-Party Components

ZapFolder uses rmbrr by Matthew Topolski (MIT/Apache-2.0 license) as its parallel deletion engine. This component operates entirely locally and does not collect or transmit any data.
